Abstract:

Everyday life is the only ground on which the individual is visible and has an all-encompassing reality for practical consciousness. The reality of everyday life, which has been left out of the theoretical lens of macro approaches in sociology, has recently been increasingly the subject of various evaluations among different approaches. The intensification of interaction, especially in relation to modern and postmodern processes, and thus the transformation of everyday life, is at the center of these evaluations. The dominance of the individual over his behavior and whether there is a cognitive and affective manipulation situation are discussed; there is a differentiation that the processes in question affect or even determine the pragmatic knowledge of the individual or begin to open a wide area for daily practices. The approaches, which are located at different levels between opposite extremes, deal with the individual's agency over the action from the contextual and descriptive aspects within the new situations experienced in the daily field. The quality of the concept of everyday life, which we use as a bearing point, enables a description, but also includes an analysis opportunity. In this context, the aim of our study is to present a sociological perspective on the actual reflection of the transformation of everyday life, which is more and more occupying the sociological agenda day by day.
