Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, sutura coronalis, sutura sagittalis ve sutura lambdoidea sutural açıklığı morfolojisinin ve morfometrisinin değerlendirilmesidir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu amaç ile, cinsiyeti ve yaşı belli olmayan Anadolu populasyonuna ait 17 adet cranium sutural açıklık derecesine göre (Derece 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) analiz edilmiştir ve daha sonra sutura cranii uzunlukları elektronik kumpas ile ölçülmüştür. Bulgular: Çalışmamızda sutura coronalis Derece 0 %0, Derece 1 %67.85, Derece 2 %3.57, Derece 3 ve 4 ise %14.28 sutura sagittalis Derece 0 %0, Derece 1 %53.57, Derece 2 ve 3 %14.28, Derece 4 %17.85, sutura lambdoidea Derece 0 %0, Derece 1 %60.71, Derece 2 %14.28, Derece 3 %0, Derece 4 %7.14 olarak gözlenmiştir. Sutura coronalis, sutura sagittalis ve sutura lambdoidea uzunlukları ise sırası ile 116.80±7.70 mm, 106.59±7.18 mm, 109.05±6.76 mm olarak bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Çalışma sonuçlarımızın özellikle anatomi, antropoloji ve osteopatik manipulatif tıp ile ilgili literatüre katkıda bulunacaktır.
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the morphology and morphometry of sutura coronalis, sutura sagittalis and sutura lambdoidea sutural clarity. To this end, the gender and age of the unknown Anadolu population of 17 cranium sutural openness grades (degrees 0, 1, 2, 3, 4) were analyzed and then the lengths of the sutura cranii were measured by electronic cumbs. Results: In our study, sutura coronalis was observed as 0 percent, 1 percent 67.85, 2 percent 3.57, 3 percent and 4 percent 14.28; sutura sagittalis was observed as 0 percent, 1 percent 53.57, 2 percent and 3 percent 14.28, 4 percent 17.85, sutura lambdoidea was observed as 0 percent 0, 1 percent 60.71, 2 percent 14.28, 3 percent 0, 4 percent 7.14. Sutura coronalis, sutura sagittalis and sutura lambdoidea were found in lengths 116.80±7.70 mm, 106.59±7.18 mm, 109.05±6.76 mm, respectively. The results of our study will contribute to the literature of anatomy, anthropology and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Materials and Methods: For this purpose, 17 Anatolian dry skulls with unknown sex and age were analyzed for sutural patency (Grade 0, 1, 2, 3, 4), and then, sutura cranii lengths were measured with sliding caliper. Results: In the present study, sutura coronalis was observed as Grade 0 with 0%, Grade 1 with 67.85%, Grade 2 with 3.57%, Grade 3 and 4 with 14.28%; sutura sagittalis was observed as Grade 0 with 0%, Grade 1 with 53.57, Grade 2 and 3 with 14.28%, Grade 4 with 17.85%; sutura lambdoidea was observed as Grade 0 with 0%, Grade 1 with 60.71%, Grade 2 with 14.28%, Grade 3 with 0%, Grade 4 with 7.14%. The lengths of sutura coronalis, sutura sagittalis and sutura lambdoidea were found as 116.80±7.70 mm, 106.59±7.18 mm, 109.05±6.76 mm, respectively. Conclusion: This study results will make contributions to literature data especially for anatomy, anthropology, osteopathic medicine researchers.
