Abstract:

Araştırmanın amacı, mesleki müzik eğitimi alan öğrencilerin piyano dersine yönelik öz yeterliklerini farklı değişkenler açısından incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmada eğitim fakültesi, devlet konservatuvarı ve güzel sanatlar fakültelerinin ilgili programlarında mesleki müzik eğitimi alan 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf düzeyindeki öğrencilerin piyano dersine yönelik öz yeterliklerinin öğrenim görülen üniversite, fakülte, yaş, cinsiyet ve mezun olunan lise türü değişkenleri açısından farklılık gösterme durumu tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma tarama modelinde, betimsel bir alan araştırmasıdır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye’de mesleki müzik eğitimi veren üniversitelerin 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf öğrencileri, örneklemini ise 2017-2018 eğitim öğretim yılında basit rastgele örneklem seçme yöntemiyle belirlenen Niğde Ömer Halisdemir, Yüzüncü Yıl ve Harran Üniversitesi Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dallarının; Akdeniz, Atatürk ve Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Üniversitesi Güzel Sanatlar Fakültelerinin; Afyon Kocatepe, Selçuk, Kafkas Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarlarının 1., 2., 3. ve 4. sınıf düzeylerinde müzik eğitimi alan 550 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma ile ilgili veriler Kurtuldu ve Bulut (2016) tarafından geliştirilen “Piyano Dersine Yönelik Öz Yeterlik Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda mesleki müzik eğitimi alan öğrencilerin öz yeterlik puanları ile ölçeğin alt boyutuna yönelik öz yeterlik puanlarının öğrenim görülen üniversite, yaş, cinsiyet ve mezun olunan lise türü değişkeni açısından anlamsal farklılık gösterdiği; öğrenim görülen fakülte, öğrenim görülen sınıf düzeyi değişkeni açısından anlamsal farklılık göstermediği sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

The purpose of the study is to examine the self-qualifications of students who receive professional music training to the piano course in terms of different variables. According to this purpose, the research has identified a state of differentiation in the faculties of education, the state conservation and the faculties of art in the relevant programs of professional music education in the students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade of piano courses in the university, faculties, age, gender and graduated high school type variants. Research in the scanning model is an imaginary field research. The university of the research university provides professional music education in Turkey 1., 2., 3. and 4. Class students, their sample in 2017-2018 educational year is determined by the method of selecting simple random sample of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir, Hundred Years and Harran University Music Education Anabilim Branches; Mediterranean, Atatürk and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University School of Fine Arts; Afyon Kocatepe, Selçuk, Kafkas University State Conservatories' 1, 2, 3 and 4 levels of music education 550 students. The research-related data was saved and collected using the "Self Qualification Measurement to the Piano Course" developed by Cloud (2016). According to the research findings, students who receive vocational music education have achieved the results that the self-qualification points and the self-qualification points for the lower dimension of the scale showed significant differences in terms of the university, age, gender and high school type variable; the faculty studied has not shown significant differences in terms of the class level variable studied.

Research On Self Sufficiency Of The Students For Piano Courses In Professional Music Education In Terms Of Different Variables

The aim of this research is toexamine self sufficiency of the students for piano courses in professional music education in terms of different variables. For this purpose, the differences between self sufficiencies of the students for piano courses in professional music education in grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 of faculty of education, state conservatory and faculty of fine arts has been determined in terms of different variables such as university, faculty, age, gender and graduated high schools. This is a descriptive research with scanning model. The population of this research consists of the students from grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the universities granting professional music education in Turkey; and the sample group of this research consists of 550 students, which have been selected with random sample method from grade 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Turkish universities giving professional music education during 2017-2018 academic year, such as Departments of Music Education of Niğde Ömer Halisdemir, Yüzüncü Yıl and Harran Universities, the Faculties of FineArts in Akdeniz, Atatürk and Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli Universities, the State Conservatories of Afyon Kocatepe, Selçuk, Kafkas Universities. The data for this research has been collected with “Self Sufficiency Scale for Piano Course” which was developed by Kurtuldu and Bulut (2016). According to research findings, there is a significant difference between the self sufficiency scores of the students in music education and the self sufficiency scores undersub-dimension of the scale in terms of variables such as university, age, gender and graduated high schools; however there is no significant difference in terms of variables such as faculty, level of education grade.
