Türkler ve Bulgarlar yüzyıllar boyunca birlikte yaşamışlardır. Osmanlılar Orta Asya ve Anadolu kültürünü Bulgaristan’a taşımışlardır. Türk kültürü doğal olarak yaşadığı bu coğrafyanın insanının ortaya koyduğu maddî ve manevî kültür ürünlerini etkilemiştir. Manevi etkiler örf, âdet ve geleneklerin yaşama geçirilmesinde kendini göstermiştir. Dil, edebiyat ve sanat ürünleri manevî etkilenmenin dışa vurumu biçiminde değerlendirilebilecek maddî etkilenmeyi yansıtmıştır. Bulgar halkının yaşama biçimleri, gelenek görenekleri, kültürleri Bulgaristan’da Türk dilinin yaygınlaşması ve Türk kültürüne ait eserlerin hızla inşa edilmesiyle değişime uğramıştır. Türklerle, Türk diliyle ve Türk kültürüyle iç içe yaşayan Bulgar halkı Türk kültüründen etkilenmişlerdir. Bugün birçok Türk atasözü Bulgar diline çevrilmiş ve kullanılmaktadır. Birçok Türk türkü ezgisini Bulgar şarkılarında görebilmekteyiz. Bulgaristan’da Türk kültürünün yöre halkına etkisininaçık göstergesi onların dillerine girmiş Türkçe kelimelerdir. Bugünkü Bulgarcada, Türkçeden geçen dört-beş bin civarında kelime bulunmaktadır. Dildeki etkilenme sadece kelimeler ile sınırlı değildir; birçok deyim ve atasözleri de ortaktır. Diğer taraftan Türk kültürü de, Bulgaristan’da yerli halkın kültürünü etkilediği kadar Bulgar kültüründen etkilenmiştir. Osmanlı hâkimiyeti döneminde Bulgaristan’da birçok mimarî eser inşa edilmiş, edebiyat ve diğer sanat alanlarında faaliyet gösteren birçok sanatçı tarafından çok değerli eserler ortaya konmuştur. Bu durum Bulgaristan’da büyük bir kültürel olgunlaşmanın ve büyük bir kültürel birikimin meydana gelmesini sağlamıştır
Turks and Bulgarians have lived together for centuries. The Ottomans transferred the culture of Central Asia and Anatolia to Bulgaria. The Turkish culture has naturally influenced the material and spiritual cultural products of this geography in which the human being is presented. The spiritual effects showed themselves in the transition of heritage and traditions. The language, literature and art products have reflected the material influence that can be assessed in the form of an outward blow of spiritual influence. The Bulgarian people’s ways of living, their traditions, their cultures have changed with the spread of the Turkish language in Bulgaria and the rapid construction of works of Turkish culture. The Bulgarian people who live with the Turks, the Turkish language and the Turkish culture are influenced by the Turkish culture. Today, many Turkish vocabulary are translated and used into Bulgarian. We can see many Turkish turks in the Bulgarian songs. In Bulgaria, the influence indicator of Turkish culture on the local people is the Turkish words that entered their languages. Today, there are about four to five thousand words in Bulgarian. The influence in the language is not limited only to words; many phrases and phrases are also common. On the other hand, the Turkish culture has been influenced by the Bulgarian culture as much as it affects the culture of the indigenous people in Bulgaria. During the Ottoman rule, many architectural works were built in Bulgaria, and valuable works were presented by many artists working in literature and other art fields. This has led to a great cultural maturity and a great cultural accumulation in Bulgaria.
