Purpose: The purpose of this in vitro study is to evaluate the color stability after waiting for three different tooth colors restorative materials (a microhybrid composite resin [Charisma [Heraeus-Kulzer] , a nanohybrid composite resin [Ice [SDI] and a developed resin modified glass ionomer siman [ACTIVA Restorative [Pulpdent]) in five different coloring solutions (thee, coffee, cacao, red wine and distilled water). Tools and Methods: A plastic pattern of each restorative material is prepared with a diameter of 5 mm and a thickness of 2 mm with a 45-cylinder-shaped sample (a total of 135 samples). After all the samples were kept in distilled water for 24 hours, the first colour measurements were carried out using a spectrophotometer. After the first colour measurements, the samples were randomly divided into five groups (n=9) and lasted for 28 days in five different coloring solutions. During the test period, the solutions were updated every day and the second color measurements were taken at the end of the study. The color changes (ΔE) were calculated and statistically analyzed using the Kruskal-Wallis Test. Results: The ΔE values of the materials tested after waiting in 28 days in coloring solutions varied from 0.63 to 27.55. All the materials tested were obtained when examples of high ΔE values were left in the red shrimp. Red wine, coffee and tea caused a significant change in color in all the tested materials. The color of the restorative materials left in distilled water has not changed significantly at the end of the 28 day test period. Long-term exposure to red wine, coffee and tea can affect the color stability of the tested restorative materials.
