Abstract:

The purpose of this research is to study the relationship between math-oriented epistemological beliefs, math self-capacity perception and math anxiety. A relative scan model has been used to detect simultaneously the change of the studied variables. In the 2020-2021 educational-learning period, 767 students studying in different kinds of high schools determined by the purpose sampling method in the province of Kayseri are the sampling of research. Students have been applied to the "Matematical-Focused Epistemological Faith Scale (MOEI)", the "Matematical Self-Competence Scale" and the "Matematical Anxiety Scale". The results of the analysis have shown that there is a negative relationship between mathematical-oriented epistemological beliefs and mathematical self-capacity perception and mathematical self-capacity perception and mathematical self-capacity perception and mathematical self-capacity perception. The variables that have been studied have also been examined.  In light of the findings obtained, many recommendations have been made to the school guidance service, such as joint studies with students and guardians, and to the researchers, the same study is carried out as a mixed research.
