Altun Yaruk Sudur, Beş Balıklı Şiŋko Şeli Tutuŋ tarafından Çinceden Uygurcaya tercüme edilmiştir. Türk Budizmini anlama noktasında bize büyük katkı sağlayan Altun Yaruk, ihtiva ettiği Türkçe dil malzemesiyle de paha biçilmez bir hazine niteliğindedir. Uygurca tercümenin iki versiyonu vardır: St. Petersburg yazması ve Berlin versiyonu. St. Petersburg nüshası Altun Yaruk’un mevcut en sağlam ve tam yazması olarak kabul edilmektedir. Makalede, Altun Yaruk’un St. Petersburg nüshasındaki XXVII. bölümünün yazıçevrimi yapılmış ve Uygurca orijinal metin Türkçeye aktarıldıktan sonra neşir açıklamalarla birlikte incelenmiştir
