The main objective of professional disciplines is to reveal the content of scientific knowledge that can be used in the practice of the profession. The core stone of the nursing profession within the professional professions is "care". For the continuation of the nursing profession, common language and care models must be used. The theory and models of nursing are guiding in the production of new knowledge by testing default interactions, by systematizing nursing practices, by defining realistic goals and limits, by providing continuous and qualified care in accordance with individual differences. One of the models used in nursing discipline is the Lydia Hall Care-Self-Healing Model. In this model, which is customized in terms of rehabilitation, Hall points out that the patient individual needs motivation and energy to heal, stressing that the nurse should be aware of this to apply his care in the framework of a comprehensive approach. The aim of this study is to demonstrate the fact based on the Lydia Hall Care-Self-Healing Model, based on the Lydia Hall Care Ring and a comprehensive care approach to the planning, implementation and availability of the model in care. In the study, a 74-year-old female patient, diagnosed with pneumonia, diagnosed with mass in the lungs and suffered from toracotomy, was given nursing care according to the Lydia Hall Care-Self-Therapy Model and aimed at creating a sample for the use of the model. The patient's written and oral permits are obtained.
