Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the factors affecting the price/benefit ratio of companies trading in the manufacturing sector BIST 100 between 2015 and 2019 and to identify the effects of these factors on the price/benefit ratio. Method - In order to determine the factors affecting the price/benefit rate, the financial rates for the 5 periods of 70 manufacturing companies, which can be accessed without interruption to their financial data, have been assessed annually. Panel data analysis method used the predictable random effects model, in literature parallel; currency ratio, lift ratio, market value/defter ratio and the variables of own source profitability and literature; net work capital turnover speed, active turnover speed and short-term foreign resources/collective foreign resources ratio variables are included. According to the results of the Panel data analysis, the price/benefit ratio and the short-term foreign resources/collective foreign resources ratio, the market value/defter ratio and the currency ratio have been found in a positive direction; the active turnover rate and the self-source profitability have been found in a negative direction and a meaningful relationship. It has been found that the net work rate has no statistically meaningful relationship between the turn rate and the lift rate and the price/winning rate. Discussions - The study determined the price/benefit ratio of the independent variables included in the model as 34.9%. It is believed that the study of the effects of specific and/or macroeconomic factors on the business will be a contribution.
