Amaç: Araştırma, yaşamın ilk üç yılında uyku sorunları ve uyku sorunlarında etkili uyku ekolojisi etmenlerini incelemek amacı ile yürütüldü.Yöntem: Tanımlayıcı araştırmanın örneklemini, İzmir ilinde bir çocuk hastanesinde, sağlıklı çocuk polikliniğine Eylül 2011 - Şubat 2012 tarihleri arasında başvuran 0-36 aylık bebeği/çocuğu olan 385 anne oluşturdu. Veriler, bebek / çocuklarda uyku sorunlarını belirlemede, Sadeh 2004 tarafından geliştirilen ve 2009 yılında Sadeh ve ark. tarafından genişletilen ve Taşdemir ve Bayık 2013 tarafından, Türk toplumu için geçerlik ve güvenilirliği yapılmış "Bebek/Çocuk Uyku Sorunu Kısa Tanılama Formu" BUKF ile annelerle görüşülerek toplandı. Anneler bebeklerinin/çocuklarının, son bir haftalık uyku durumunu değerlendirdiler. Veriler SPSS 16.0 paket programı, sayı-yüzde ve Ki -kare istatistik testleri ile değerlendirildi.Bulgular: Bebeklerin yaş ortalaması 15±1.61 ay idi. Bebek/çocukların uykuya başlama saatinin 22.30, uykuya dalma süresinin 30 dk. , gece uyanma sıklığının 2 kez ve gece hiç uyanmadan uyuduğu uyku süresinin 4 saat, uyanık kaldığı sürenin 50 dk., gündüz uyku süresinin saat 2.33 saat olduğu belirlendi. Bebek/çocuklarda toplam uyku süresi ortalaması 11.32±3.0 saat olup, % 28.5'inde uyku sorunu saptandı. Annelerin % 46.2 'sı bebek/çocuklarında uyku sorunu olduğunu algıladı. 15-24 yaş grubu annelerin bebeklerinde, daha ileri yaşlardaki annelerin bebeklerine göre uyku sorunu daha fazlaydı p < .05 . Annelerin sahip olduğu çocuk sayısı azaldıkça, bebeğinin/çocuğunun uyku sorununun arttığı saptandı p olarak algılayan annelerin bebeklerinde/çocuklarında, uyku sorunufazla % 47.4 bulundu
Purpose: The study was conducted in the first three years of life with the aim of studying the factors of effective sleep ecology in sleep problems and sleep problems.Method: Identifying research sample was made by 385 mothers with 0-36 months old babies/children in a child hospital in the province of Izmir, a healthy child clinic from September 2011 to February 2012. The 0 package program was evaluated by number-procent and Ki-quarter statistical tests.The findings: The average age of babies was 15±1.61 months. The time of the baby/child starts to sleep is 22.30, the time of the baby/child starts to sleep is 30 minutes. The night awakening frequency is 2 times and the night sleeping without awakening is 4 hours, the time of awakening is 50 minutes, the day sleeping time is 2.33 hours. The total sleep time in babies/children was an average of 11.32±3.0 hours, with 28.5 percent of them having sleep problems. 46.2% of mothers found that their babies/children had sleep problems. In the babies of the 15-24-year-old groups of mothers, sleep problems were greater than in the babies of the older mothers.
