Amaç: Kanıta dayalı tıp uygulamaları gerçek bilgiye en güvenilir şekilde ulaşmak, bilimsel aynı zamanda eleştirel düşünceyi geliştirmek açısından önemlidir. Tıpta yeni bilgilere gereksinim, kanıta dayalı tıp uygulamalarının yaygınlaşmasına neden olmaktadır. Sürekli tıp eğitimi de kanıta dayalı tıbbın önemli bir parçası olarak kabul edilmektedir. Fakültemizdeki kanıta dayalı tıp uygulamalarının amacı, tıp fakültesi öğrencilerine kanıta dayalı tıbbın önemini kavratmak, bilimsel bir çalışmanın içinde yer almalarını sağlamak ve bu çalışma basamaklarını öğretmektir Gereç ve Yöntemler: Kanıta dayalı tıp kapsamında yapılan çalışmalar, Tıp Fakültesi Dönem 3 öğrencileri tarafından yürütülmektedir. Dersin sorumlu öğretim üyesi tarafından gruplara ayrılırlar. Her bir grup için de sorumlu araştırmacı öğretim üyesi belirlenir. Ders programında belirlenen tarihlerde öğrenciler bir araya gelip araştırma konusunun başlığını kesinleştirir. Etik kurul formu hazırlanıp etik kurula başvuru yapılır. Çalışma sonlandıktan sonra da özet/makale hâline getirilir ve özet hâline getirilen çalışmalar sunulur ve tartışılır. Bulgular: 2020-2021 Eğitim ve Öğretim döneminde gerçekleştirilen kanıta dayalı tıp kapsamında 194 sayıda Dönem 3 öğrencisi çalıştı. COVID-19 pandemisinin etkileri ve aşı üzerine olan çalışmalar başta olmak üzere; kanser, uyku, güneşin zararları, yeni sosyal hayat ve cinsel mitler gibi güncel konularda sorumlu öğretim üyesi gözetiminde toplam 15 farklı çalışma yapıldı. Bu çalışmaların başlıkları ve sorumlu öğretim üyeleri Tablo-1 de yer almaktadır. Hazırlanan özetler dijital platform üzerinden sunuldu ve tartışıldı. Sonuç: Tüm Dönem 3 öğrencileri, COVID-19 pandemisinden dolayı uzaktan eğitim aldıkları 2020-2021 Eğitim ve Öğretim döneminde çevrimiçi öğrenme ortamlarında bilimsel bir çalışmanın tüm aşamalarını yürüttüler ve çalışmalarını başarıyla sonlandırdılar.
Purpose: Proof-based medical practices are important in terms of the most reliable access to real knowledge, the scientific and critical thinking. The need for new information in medicine leads to the spread of evidence-based medical applications. Continuous medical education is also considered an important part of evidence-based medicine. The purpose of evidence-based medical practices at our faculty is to understand the importance of evidence-based medicine to the students of the Faculty of Medicine, to ensure that they are involved in a scientific study and to teach these study stages Tools and Methods: evidence-based medicine studies are conducted by the students of the Faculty of Medicine Period 3. The classes are divided into groups by the responsible teaching member. Each group is responsible for the research faculty member. At the dates specified in the curriculum, students gather together to confirm the title of the research subject. The ethical board form is prepared and the ethical board is requested. After the work is completed, the work is presented and discussed. Results: In the field of evidence-based medicine carried out in the 2020-2021 Education and Teaching period, 194 period 3 students worked. A total of 15 different studies on the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and the vaccine have been conducted under the supervision of the faculty responsible for current subjects such as cancer, sleep, solar damage, new social life and sexual myths. The headlines of these studies and responsible faculty members are included in Table 1. The prepared summaries were presented via the digital platform and discussed. Result: All Period 3 students conducted all stages of a scientific study in online learning environments during the 2020-2021 Education and Teaching period where they received distance education due to the COVID-19 pandemic and successfully completed their studies.
Aim: Evidence-based medicine practices are important in terms of reaching real information in the most reliable way and developing scientific and critical thinking. The need for new information in medicine causes the spread of evidence-based medicine practices. Continuing medical education is also recognized as an important part of evidence-based medicine. The aim of the evidence-based medicine practices in our faculty is to make the medical faculty students understand the importance of evidence-based medicine, to enable them to take part in a scientific study and to teach these study steps. Materials and Methods: Studies within the scope of evidence-based medicine are carried out by Term 3 students of the Faculty of Medicine. They are divided into groups by the responsible academic member of the course. Responsible research faculty member is determined for each group. Students come together on the dates determined in the curriculum and finalize the title of the research topic. An ethics committee form is prepared and an application is made to the ethics committee. After the study is concluded, it is turned into a summary/article and the summarized studies are presented and discussed. Results: Within the scope of evidence-based medicine carried out in the 2020-2021 Education and Training period, 194 Term 3 students worked. A total of 15 different studies were conducted under the supervision of a responsible faculty members on current issues such as cancer, sleep, sun damage, new social life and sexual myths, especially the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and studies on vaccines. The titles of these studies and the responsible faculty members are given in Table-1. Prepared abstracts were presented and discussed on the digital platform. Conclusion: All Term 3 students carried out all stages of a scientific study in online learning environments and successfully completed their studies in the 2020-2021 Education and Training period when they received distance education due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
