Abstract:

Cabir b., one of the hundred books in the Prophetic Heirs series and written by Murat Bıyıklı. Hayyan book consists of introduction, foreword, introduction, three chapters, conclusion, bibliography, appendices and index. In the introduction of the book, Bıyıklı discusses the Islamic world in the century in which Hayyan lived in broad outline, within the political, social, religious and cultural framework, with the eyes of a competent Islamic historian in his field. Hayyan talked about the works written about him, one after the other. In particular, he touched upon Hayyan's life in the last period of the Umayyad state and the establishment and rise of the Abbasid state in detail, and stated his relationship with the Bermaki family, which played an active role during the Abbasid rule and with whom Hayyan established close relations.
