Abstract:

Self anxiety is a feeling that affects people in every field and in every sense in everyday life. The situations in which we are and which force us; with the effect of anxiety, it manifests itself with physical conditions such as sadness, trouble, vibration, depression, failure to breathe. In recent years, it is observed that anxiety has affected students negatively in the process of learning a foreign language and that high anxiety has reduced success. The aim of this study is to address the writing concerns of foreign national university students studying in our country in the light of variables such as gender, rate level, Turkish reading habit, Turkish writing frequency, and to determine whether there is a meaningful difference between the writing concerns of students in terms of these variables. The study was conducted on 130 foreign students who received TÖMER education at the Aydin University and Gaziantep University in the 2018-2019 educational year. In obtaining the data, Shen and Boylu (2017), used the "Writing Anxiety Scale" developed to identify the writing concerns of foreign nationals students.
