Abstract:

In this study, teachers’ perceptions of psychological consultants’ competence and the competence of psychological consultants were studied in the framework of socio-demographic variables. For this purpose, the perception of how sufficient school psychological counselors consider themselves and the perception of how sufficient school psychological counselors are considered by teachers and the qualification of psychological counselors is asked to be assessed. The study is in the character of a visual and relative scanning model from the general scanning methods. To determine the perception of the adequacy of psychological counselors, the universe is the only psychological counselors and teachers at the school in the province of Van. The first sample of the study consisted of a total of 194 psychological consultants, including 79 women and 115 men who participated voluntarily in the study. The second sample group consisted of a total of 300 teachers, including 192 men and 108 women, selected from this universe. Psychological consultants and teachers have been applied "Psychological Consultant Qualification Perception Scale" and "Personal Information Form". The data received was analyzed in the SPSS program.
