Bu çalışmada yirmi bir yaşındaki bir erkek tarafından maruz bırakıldığı cinsel istismar sebebiyle 5395 sayılı Çocuk Koruma Kanunu’nun 5-1/a maddesi gereğince hakkında danışmanlık tedbiri alınan on beş yaşındaki kız çocuğuna yönelik gerçekleştirilen sosyal hizmet müdahalesi ele alınmıştır. Sosyal hizmet müdahalesinde çocuğun ve ailenin içinde bulunduğu kriz durumunu atlatabilmesi, travmanın etkisinin en aza indirilmesi, sosyal işlevselliğinin yeniden sağlanması ve yaşamının olağan seyrine dönülmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu bağlamda müdahale sürecinde ekosistem ve güçlendirme yaklaşımından ve ayrıca sosyal hizmet uygulamalarında kullanılan bilişsel davranışçı yaklaşımın güçlendirici tekniklerinden faydalanılmıştır. Vaka, sosyal hizmetin müdahale sürecinde oldukça önemli yer tutan planlı değişim sürecinin aşamaları doğrultusunda sunulmuştur.
This study examined the social service intervention against a fifteen-year-old girl who was advised in accordance with Article 5-1/a of the Child Protection Act No. 5395 due to sexual abuse which was exposed by a twenty-one-year-old man. In the social service intervention, the aim is to be able to overcome the crisis situation in which the child and the family are within, to minimize the impact of the trauma, to restore its social functionality and to return to the normal course of life. In this context, the ecosystem and strengthening approach in the intervention process, as well as the strengthening techniques of the cognitive behavioral approach used in social services practices, have been exploited. The case is presented in accordance with the stages of the planned change process, which plays a very important role in the social service intervention process.
This study is about the social work intervention which was conducted on a 15-year-old girl who was given a counseling injunction as a requirement of the item 5-1/a of the Child Protection Law (No. 5395) due to the fact that she was sexually abused by a 21-year-old man. Social work intervention aimed at child and her family overcoming the crisis; minimizing the effect of the trauma; restoring social functioning; and turning back to the ordinary flow of life. In this framework, the intervention process made use of the eco-system and empowerment approaches and of the empowering techniques of the cognitive behavioral approach that is used in social work practice. The case is presented in line with the steps of the planned change process which constitutes a rather significant place in the process of social work intervention.
