So many results that aren't mine?

Öğretmenliğe Geri Dönen Okul Müdürlerinin Yaşadıkları Sorunlara İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşleri

Abstract:

Okul müdürlerinin yürüttükleri yöneticilik görevlerinin sona ermesiyle bazı sorunlar yaşanmaktadır. Bu yaşanan sorunlar örgütü olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı; öğretmenliğe geri dönen okul müdürlerinin yaşadıkları sorunlara ilişkin görüşlerini belirlemek  ve olası çözüm yolları ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılarak olgubilim (fenomenoloji) deseni ile oluşturulmuştur.  Araştırmanın çalışma grubu amaçlı örneklem yöntemi çerçevesinde kolay ulaşılabilir örneklem tekniği ile tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu, resmi okullarda müdürlük görevini yapıp öğretmenlik görevine dönen 10 öğretmenden oluşmuştur.  Araştırma, veri toplama araçlarından yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formuyla yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler betimsel analiz tekniğine göre analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler analiz edildiğinde katılımcılar öncelikle öğretmenlik mesleğine dönüşte karşılaşılan sorunları; ders hazırlığı, hayal kırıklığı ve boşluk- bocalama şeklinde belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcılar müdürlükten öğretmenliğe dönmenin sağladığı avantajları; stresten uzaklaşma, aileye zaman ayırma ve özgürlük hissi şeklinde belirtmişlerdir. Katılımcılar müdürlükten öğretmenliğe dönüşte karşılaşılan sorunların üstesinden gelinmesi için aileye daha çok zaman, kişisel gelişime önem ve hayatla barışık olma şeklinde birtakım önerilerde bulunmuşlardır.

Teachers Returning to Teacher's Opinions on Problems

Abstract:

There are some problems with the end of the school managers' duties. These problems affect the organization in a negative way. In this context, the purpose of the study is to identify the views of school managers returning to teaching on the problems they are experiencing and to reveal possible solutions. The research is created using the method of research (fenomenology) design.  The study was identified by the easy-to-access sample technique within the framework of the sample method for the study group. The study’s work group consisted of 10 teachers who performed the management duties in the official schools and returned to the teaching duties. The research was carried out through a semi-configured conversation form from data collection tools. The data obtained was analyzed according to the visual analysis technique. When the data obtained from the study was analyzed, the participants first pointed out the problems they encounter in the return to the teaching profession; in the form of lesson preparation, disappointment and emptiness. The participants pointed out the advantages of returning from management to teaching in the form of a way of getting away from stress, spending time with the family and feeling of freedom. Participants have made a series of suggestions in the form of more time to the family, the importance of personal development and peace with life to overcome the problems faced by the management to the teaching.

There are some problems with the end of the managerial duties of school principals. These problems affect the organization negatively. In this context, the aim of the study is; The aim of this study is to determine the opinions of school principals who return to teaching about the problems they experience and to reveal possible solutions. The research was created with the phenomenology pattern using the qualitative research method. The study group of the research was determined by the easily accessible sampling technique within the framework of the purposeful sampling method. The study group of the research consisted of 10 teachers who worked as principals in public schools and returned to teaching. The research was conducted with a semi-structured interview form, one of the data collection tools. The obtained data were analyzed according to the descriptive analysis technique. When the data obtained from the research is analyzed, the participants firstly; the problems encountered in returning to the teaching profession; lesson preparation, disappointment and emptiness-confusion. Participants; the advantages of returning from principalship to teaching; stress relief, spending time with family and feeling of freedom. The participants made some suggestions such as more time to the family, importance of personal development and being at peace with life in order to overcome the problems encountered in returning from being a principal to a teacher.
