Bu çalışma, Türkiye’de enflasyon oranı, işsizlik oranı ve petrol fiyatlarının birbirleri üzerindeki etkisini test etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada 2010:01-2016:12 dönemine ait aylık veriler kullanılarak enflasyon oranı, işsizlik oranı ve petrol fiyatları aralarındaki nedenselliği test etmek için Gelişmiş Dickey Füller (ADF) ve Philips-Perron (PP) birim kök testi, Johansen eşbütünleme testi, Hata düzeltme modeli (VEC) ve Granger nedensellik analizi yapılmıştır. Birim kök testine göre bütün değişkenler durağan çıkmıştır. Johansen eşbütünleşme testine göre, değişkenler uzun dönemde birbirlerini etkilemektedir. Hata düzeltme modeline göre işsizlik oranı ile enflasyon oranı arasında kısa dönemde doğru yönde bir ilişki tespit edilmiştir. Granger nedensellik testi sonuçlarına göre ise, işsizlik oranı ile enflasyon arasında tek yönlü bir nedensellik tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda ele alınan dönemde Philips’in savunduğu işsizlik ile enflasyon arasında ters yönde bir ilişkinin olmadığı, doğru yönde bir ilişki olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
This study aims to test the inflation rate, unemployment rate and oil prices on each other. The study used monthly data for the period 2010:01-2016:12 to test the causality between inflation rate, unemployment rate and oil prices Advanced Dickey Fuel (ADF) and Philips-Perron (PP) unit root test, Johansen equalization test, error correction model (VEC) and Granger causality analysis. According to the unit root test, all the variables have stopped. According to Johansen's matching test, the variables affect each other over a long period of time. According to the error correction model, a correlation between unemployment and inflation rate has been found in the right direction in the short term. According to the Granger Causability Test results, a one-way cause has been identified between unemployment rate and inflation. The study found that in the time discussed, there was no opposite relationship between unemployment and inflation that Philips defended.
