Abstract:

Supplier selection is one of the most important steps of supply chain management and plays important role for business to reach their short and long term targets. In recent conditions, along with environmental performance of organization is affected by the environmental performance of supplier’s green supplier selection became a strategic decision from the point of competitive advantage. The aim of this thesis is to evaluate a fitted kitchen producer company which is operated in Trabzon in the way of green supplier criteria. Because of the fact that supplier selection is a complex and uncertain multi criteria decision making problem which contains qualitative and quantitative factors, identified elements are analyzed by fuzzy methods. In this context, firstly the level of significance of green supplier factors are determined with Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and the company’s suppliers are sorted by Fuzzy TOPSIS according to their performances.
