Ekonomik kalkınmanın en önemli koşulu üretim faktörlerinin olabildiğince yüksek düzeyde ve verimlilikte kullanılmasıdır. Ancak, bu faktörlerin başında gelen işgücünün kullanımında dünyanın bütün ülkelerinde cinsiyet açısından, erkeklerin lehine dengesiz bir durum söz konusudur. Kadınların toplumsal ve ekonomik yaşama katılımları ile toplumsal ve ekonomik kalkınmadan yararlanma biçimleri ve ölçüleri doğru orantılı değildir. Çalışmamızda bağımsız değişkenler olan evlenme sayısı, boşanma sayısı, genel işsizlik oranı, kadın işgücü sayısı ve kadınların eğitim düzeyi seviyesinin bağımlı değişkenler olan kadınların işgücüne katılma oranları ve kadınların istihdam oranlarına etkisi araştırılmıştır. Araştırma geniş kapsamda Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu’nun (TÜİK), Türkiye geneli için 1988-2016 yılları arasında yayınladığı değişkenlerin analiz edilmesiyle ele alınmaktadır. Çalışmada ilk olarak literatür taraması yapılarak kavramsal ve teorik çerçevesi incelenmiş, daha sonra 1988-2016 yıllarına ait değişkenler analiz edilerek medeni durum, genel işsizlik oranı ve eğitim seviyesinin kadının işgücü katılma oranı ve istihdam oranına etkisi araştırılmıştır.
The most important condition for economic development is the use of production factors at the highest possible level and in efficiency. However, in the use of the workforce that comes from these factors, in all countries of the world, in terms of gender, it is a disbalance to the benefit of men. The ways and measures of women’s participation in social and economic life and their benefit from social and economic development are not properly proportionate. Our study has studied the number of marriages, the number of divorces, the overall unemployment rate, the number of women’s workforce and the rate of women’s participation in labour and the impact on women’s employment rates, which are independent variables. The research is widely addressed by the analysis of the variables published by the Turkish Statistical Bureau (TÜIK) for the whole of Turkey between the years 1988-2016. The study first studied the conceptual and theoretical framework by conducting a literary scan, and then analysed the variables of the 1988-2016 years and the impact of the general unemployment rate and education level on the employment rate and the participation rate of women.
An essentialcondition for economic development is the use of production factors as efficiently and effectively as possible.
