Abstract:

Bu araştırmanın amacı, görsel sanatlar öğretmenlerinin ortaöğretim düzeyindeki ders öğretim programında yer alan “görsel sanat kültürü” öğrenme alanına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Araştırma Mersin, Hatay ve Aksaray illerinde görev yapan 15 görsel sanat öğretmeni üzerinden gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak 10 sorudan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada NVivo 8 programı kullanılmış ve ilgili öğretmenlerin görüşlerinin değerlendirilmesinde içerik analizi yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulguların frekans ve yüzde dağılımları belirlenmiştir. Görsel sanat kültürü öğrenme alanı ile ilgili uygulamalarda Ortaöğretim 9, 10, 11 ve 12. Sınıflar Görsel Sanatlar (Resim) Dersi Öğretim Programı’nın genel olarak etkili olmadığı, özellikle eleştirilen durumların ders saatinin azlığı, programın uygulanabilirliği yönünde eksiklerin oluşu, öğrenci profilinin değişkenliği, sosyal çevrenin etkisi ve öğretmen yeterliliğine ilişkin olumsuz

Abstract:

This study aims to identify the visual art teachers’ views about zone of “visual art learning culture”, a course scheduled in secondary school curriculum. The study was carried out with 15 teachers currently working in three different cities in Turkey: Mersin, Hatay, and Aksaray. A semi-structured interview was conducted which included ten open ended questions. The analysis of the transcribed verbal data was processed through NVivo 8 to carry out a content analysis. The emerging themes were calculated as frequency and percentage distribution. Findings show that zone of “visual art learning culture seems an effective practice in 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades at secondary schools,. especially the lack of criticism of hours cases, incomplete formation of the program in terms of applicability, the variability of the student profile, it is seen that the negative views on the social and environmental impact of teacher qualifications.
