İstasyon Tekniğinin 6. Sınıf Fen Bilimleri Dersi Madde Ve Isı Ünitesindeki Öğrenci Akademik Başarısına Etkisinin İncelenmesi

Bu çalışmada İstasyon Tekniği ile öğrenmenin 6. sınıf fen bilimleri dersi madde ve ısı ünitesindeki öğrenci akademik başarısına etkisini belirlemek ve geleneksel öğretimin ve İstasyon Tekniğinin 6. sınıf fen bilimleri dersi madde ve ısı ünitesindeki öğrenci başarısı üzerindeki etki düzeyini karşılaştırmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma ön test son test kontrol gruplu model ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini 2016-2017 eğitim-öğretim yılının II. döneminde öğrenim gören 6. sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise Diyarbakır’ın Çınar ilçesindeki Atatürk ortaokulunda eğitim-öğretim gören 6. sınıftaki 54 öğrencidir. Uygulama toplamda 16 ders saati olmak üzere madde ve ısı ünitesini kapsayacak şekilde uygulanmıştır. Çalışmanın deney grubunu oluşturan 27 öğrenci istasyon tekniği ile ders işlerken geriye kalan 27 kişilik kontrol grubu MEB’in öngördüğü kazanımlara bağlı kalarak geleneksel yöntem ile ders işlemiştir. Uygulamaya geçilmeden önce deney ve kontrol gruplarına geçerliği ve güvenirliği sağlanmış MIÜBT (madde ve ısı ünitesi başarı testi) ön test şeklinde uygulanmıştır, uygulamadan sonra aynı test son-test olarak her iki gruba da uygulanmıştır. Deney ve kontrol grubu öğrencilerinin MIÜBT puan ortalamalarının karşılaştırmaları bağımsız gruplar için nonparametrik Mann Whitney-U ile bağımlı gruplar için ise; nonparametrik Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar testi ile yapılmıştır. Veri analizi sonuçlarına göre başta birbirine yakın başarıya sahip olan deney ve kontrol grubunun başarıları çalışma sonrasında artmıştır. Fakat deney grubunun başarı artışı kontrol grubuna göre anlamlı bir düzeyde artmıştır.

This study aims to determine the impact of learning with Station Technology on the academic success of the student in the 6th class science course in the material and thermal unit and to compare the level of influence on the success of the student in the 6th class science course in the traditional teaching and the 6th class science course in the station technology. The study is done with the last test control group model. The Universe of Research 2016-2017 Education-Teaching Year II. 6th grade students who are studying during the period. The examples of the study are 54 students of the 6th grade who have been educated and taught at the Ataturk High School in Diyarbakır's Chinar district. The application has been applied to cover the material and heat unit, including a total of 16 lessons hours. The study’s experimental group of 27 students, while working on the lessons with the station technique, the remaining 27 control group, MEB’s expected achievements depend on, processed the lessons with the traditional method. The validity and reliability provided to the test and control groups before the application was implemented in the form of the pre-test (matter and heat unit success test), the same test after the application was implemented in both groups as the final test. The comparison of the study and control group students' MIBT score average for independent groups is for nonparametric Mann Whitney-U-dependent groups; the nonparametric Wilcoxon Signed Sequences test is done. According to the data analysis results, the success of the experiment and control group, which had close success in the beginning, increased after the study. However, the success of the experimental group increased significantly compared to the control group.

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of the Station Technique on student academic achievement in the 6th Grade Science and Technology course of Matter and Heat unit and to compare the effect of traditional teaching and station technology on student achievement in the 6th Grade science course Matter and heat unit. The study was conducted with pre-test control group model. The universe of the research is the second year of the 2016-2017 academic year, 6th grade students who are studying in the same period. The sample of the research is 54 students in the 6th grade who are studying at Atatürk secondary school in Çınar district of Diyarbakır. The application was applied in a total of 16 lesson hour covering the matter and heat unit. The 27 students who constituted the experimental group of the study were studying with the station technique; the rest of the 27 student control group was taught by traditional methods, depending on the achievements of the MEB. The MIUBT (matter and heat unit achievement test), which was valid and reliable for the experimental and control groups, was applied as a preliminary test before the application. After the application, both groups were applied as the same success test post-test. Comparisons of MIUBT mean scores of the students in the experimental and control groups were compared by the nonparametric Mann Whitney-U test for independent groups and for the dependent groups; nonparametric Wilcoxon Marked Ranks test. According to the results of the data analysis, the successes of the experiment and control group, which has close successes in the first place, increased after the study. However, the success rate of the experimental group increased significantly increased level compared to control group.
