İlkokul 4. sınıf öğrencilerinin hoşgörü değerine ilişkin tutumlarını ölçebilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir tutum ölçeği geliştirmeyi amaçlayan bu çalışma, tarama modeli niteliğinde betimsel bir çalışmadır. Çalışma grubunu, Ordu ili Altınordu ilçesindeki ilkokullarda öğrenim gören 548 dördüncü sınıf öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Tutum maddelerini oluşturma, uzman görüşüne başvurma, ön deneme, geçerlik çalışması, faktör analizi ve güvenilirlik hesaplama aşamalarına uygun olarak geliştirilen ölçekle ilgili olarak madde geçerliğine kanıt olmak üzere madde-toplam korelasyonları ve alt-üst grup ortalamaları farkına dayalı madde analizi hesaplanmıştır. Madde-toplam korelasyonları .35 ile .65 arasında değişen ölçeğin %27’lik alt-üst grupların ortala¬maları arasındaki tüm farkların anlamlı olduğu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda, faktör yük değerleri .813 ile .432 arasında değişen ve toplam varyansın %88,466’sını açıklayan 5 faktör elde edilmiş ve elde edilen bu faktörler "Anlayış", “Saygı”, “Empati” “Esneklik” ve “Önyargı” olarak adlandırılmıştır. Yapılan doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonuçları ise modelin uyum iyiliği indekslerinin kabul edilebilir düzeyde olduğunu gösterirken, yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizinden elde edilen sonuçları da doğrulamıştır. 14’ü olumlu, 15’i olumsuz olmak üzere toplam 29 maddeden oluşan ölçeğin iç tutarlılık güvenirlik katsayısı .87 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Yapılan analizler ve hesaplamalar sonucunda; geliştirilen Hoşgörü Tutum Ölçeğinin, ilkokul dördüncü sınıf öğrencilerinin hoşgörü değerine ilişkin tutumlarının belirlenmesinde geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olarak kullanılabileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
This study, which aims to develop a valid and reliable attitude scale that can measure the attitudes of the 4th grade primary school students to the tolerance value, is a descriptive study as a screening model. The working group constitutes 548 fourth grade students studying in the primary schools in the district of Ordu, Altınordu. Substance-total correlations and item analysis based on the difference between the upper and lower group averages were calculated as evidence for item validity with respect to the scale developed in accordance with the stages of building attitude, expert opinion, pre-test, validity study, factor analysis and reliability calculation. All of the differences between the mean of the subscales of the item-total correlations ranging from .35 to .65 and the subscales of 27% were found to be significant. As a result of the explanatory factor analysis, 5 factors were obtained which explained 88.466% of the total variance which ranged from .813 to .432 and these factors were obtained as "Understanding", "Respect", "Empathy", "Flexibility" and "Prejudice ". Verified confirmatory factor analysis results also confirm the results obtained from the explanatory factor analysis, while showing that the model's goodness of fit indexes are acceptable. The internal consistency reliability coefficient of the scale consisting of 29 items, 14 of which is positive and 15 of which is negative, was calculated as .87. As a result of analysis and calculations made; the developed Tolerance Attitude Scale can be used as a valid and reliable measurement tool in determining the attitudes of the fourth grade students of primary school to their tolerance values.
