YALIN ALTI SİGMA:BİR PET ŞİŞİRME MAKİNASINDA SÜREÇ İYİLEŞTİRME UYGULAMASI

Günümüzde yaşanan küresel rekabet ortamında faaliyetlerini sürdürebilmek ve rekabet gücünü artırmak için pek çok firma müşterilerine en iyi kalitede en düşük maliyet ile tam zamanında hizmet veya ürün sunma konusunda pek çok geliştirici yöntemlere başvurmaktadırlar. Bu çabaların bir büyük bölümü, işletmelere finansal ve müşteri memnuniyeti şeklinde kazanımlar sağlayan değer katmayan işletme süreçlerinin iyileştirilmesi üzerinde odaklanmıştır. 2000’li yıllardan sonra ortaya çıkan ve işletmelerin süreçlerini iyileştirmede kullanılan bir araç olarak yalın Altı Sigma yaklaşımı “Yalın Üretim” çatısı altında yalın üretimi destekleyen tüm uygulamaları ve “Altı Sigma”yı kapsayan sistemler bütünü olarak ifade edilebilir. Bu çalışmada yalın Altı Sigma konusu ele alınmış ve içecek şişeleme sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir firmanın üretim süreçlerinde enerji kullanımını azaltmak için yalın üretim ve Altı Sigma teknikleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında yalın Altı Sigma teknikleri (DMAIC :define, measure, analyse, improve, control) uygulanarak, enerji kullanımları analiz edilmiş ve  en çok enerji tüketilen nokta belirlenmiş ve iyileştirilen süreçler sonucunda, pet şişeleme makinasında tüketilen enerjide yaklaşık 150.000 TL’lik bir tasarrufun sağlandığı ortaya konulmuştur.

To survive in today's global competitive environment and increase competitiveness, many companies rely on a number of improving methods to offer their customers the best quality at the lowest cost and just in time to deliver services or products. Many of these efforts have focused on improving business processes that do not add value to that provide benefits in the form of financial and customer satisfaction. The lean six sigma approach as a tool that emerged after 2000 years and used to improve the processes of enterprises can be expressed as a whole of systems that support lean production under "Lean Production" and systems that include "Six Sigma". In this study, lean six sigma issues were discussed and lean manufacturing and six sigma techniques were used to reduce energy use in a company’s production processes in the beverage bottling industry. By using lean six sigma techniques (DMAIC: define, measure, analyze, improve, control), the energy use was analyzed and the most energy consumption point was determined and as a result of the improved processes, the energy consumed in the pet bottling machine has been saved about 150,000 TL.
