Abstract:

Özbekistan temel el sanatlarından  biri olan  seramik üretimi ile bilinmektedir. Antik çağlardan beri Özbekistan’ın sahip olduğu seramik zanaatı nesilden nesile aktarılmış bölgesel farklılıklarla gelişimini sürdürmüştür. Zengin ve çeşitlilik gösteren Özbekistan seramiklerinin üretildiği merkezlerin üslup özelliklerini taşıyarak her bölge, kökleri çok eskiye dayanan yerel seramik okulları sayesinde sahip oldukları üretim geleneklerini yaşatmıştır. Günümüzde hala geleneksel üretimini devam ettiren Gicduvan ve Riştan bölgeleri Özbekistan’ın en önemli çömlekçilik merkezleri olarak bilinmektedir. Üretim şekli farklılıklar gösteren bu merkezler, Özbekistan seramikleri hakkında çeşitliliği ortaya koyması açısından ayrıcalık kazanmaktadır. İpek Yolu boyunca önemli bir el sanatları merkezi olarak bilinen Buhara şehrinin yakınında küçük bir kasaba olan Gicduvan ile Fergana Vadisi’nde bulunan Riştan, çömlek üretiminde geleneksel yapıyı sürdürmektedir. Özbek çömlek formlarına genel yaklaşımlar ile geleneksel çömlek üretiminin  günümüze kadar devam edip gelişmesinde Gicduvan ve Riştan merkezlerinin önemi bu metinde öne çıkartılmıştır. Bu merkezlerin üretimini incelemeye değer kılan unsur olarak önemli seramik merkezlerinden biri olmaları ve varlıklarını günümüze kadar devam ettirmelerinin yanı sıra Özbekistan yeme-içme kültürü doğrultusunda gelişen seramik form çeşitliliğini ortaya koymalarıdır. Nitel araştırma yöntemleri ile yapılandırılan bu araştırmada nitel veri toplama tekniklerinden yarı yapılandırılmış katılımcı gözlem, kamera kayıtları, ses kayıtları, yazılı ve basılı evrak ve görüntüleri, saha notları, gözlemci günlükleri kullanılmıştır. Mevcut bulgular literatür ışığında yorumlanarak ortaya çıkan sonuçlar değerlendirilmiş, Gicduvan ve Riştan çömlekçiliği arasındaki farklılıklar ortaya konmuştur.

Uzbekistan is known for its ceramic production, which is one of the main crafts. Since ancient times, the ceramic craftsmanship that Uzbekistan possesses has continued to develop with regional differences transmitted from generation to generation. Wearing the stylish characteristics of the centers in which wealthy and diversity of Uzbekistan ceramics are produced, each region has lived its roots thanks to the local ceramics schools that are very ancient. Today, Gicduvan and Riştan regions, which continue their traditional production, are known as the main grass-making centers of Uzbekistan. These centers showing different forms of production gain a privilege in terms of showing diversity about Uzbekistan ceramics. Riştan, located in Gicduvan and Fergana Valley, a small town near the city of Buhara, known as an important centre of crafts along the Silk Road, continues its traditional structure in the production of rubber. The importance of the Gicduvan and Riştan centers in the continuation and development of the Uzbek rubber forms with general approaches to the traditional rubber production until today has been highlighted in this text. The element that makes the production of these centers worth the study is that they are one of the important ceramic centers and continue to exist until today as well as reveal the diversity of ceramic forms that develop according to the culture of eating and drinking in Uzbekistan. This research, structured by qualitative research methods, has used qualitative data collection techniques; semi-configured participants observation, camera recordings, audio recordings, written and printed documents and images, field notes, observation logs. The present findings were interpreted in the light of literature and the results were evaluated, the differences between Gicduvan and Riştan are revealed.

Since ancient times, Uzbekistan's ceramic craft has been transferred from generation to generation, has continued to develop with regional differences. By carrying the stylistic features of the centers where rich and varied Uzbekistan ceramics are produced, each region has kept alive its own production traditions thanks to the local ceramic schools whose roots are very ancient. Gijduvon and Riştan regions that still continue to produce traditionally today, are known as the most important pottery centers of Uzbekistan. These centers gain privilege in terms of diversification of Uzbekistan ceramics due to different way of production. Gijduvon is a small town near to the Buhara also knows as an important craft center along the Silk Road and Rishton is located in Fergana Valey, they both continue their tradational pottery production. The importance of Gijduvan and Rishton centers in the development and continuation of traditional pottery production with general approaches to Uzbek pottery forms has been emphasized in this text. In addition to the fact that they are one of the important ceramic centers that make production of these centers worth examining and continue their existence to the present day, they also reveal the variety of ceramic forms developed in accordance with the Uzbek eating-drinking culture.
