Unregistered economy is the economic activities which happening without the information of the government. Unregistered economy has been showing itself as a serious social problem both in the developed and in the developing countries recently. Unregistered economy has been causing negativity on the public financial balance, in addition to this; it has been causing an unjust competition and trade environment against the citizens who have performed their obligations completely in time. For this reason, it is inevitable to struggle against the unregistered activities in several ways. The unregistered fact is the most discussed and the least succeeded subject. The aim of this study is to do a general evaluation of the arrangements such as Basel II and Turkish Trade Law Proposal related with the contributions to prevent the unregistered activities by studying the definition, reasons and effects of the unregistered economy carefully
