The aim of this study is to examine the level of mathematics self report and visual math literacy self efficacy perceptions of middle school students. A total of 1521 middle school students participated to the study. At the study, “Math Self Report Inventory” developed by Akın (2011), “Visual Math Literacy Self Efficacy Perceptions Scale” developed by Duran (2011) and the “Personal Information Form” prepared by the researcher used for data collection. The findings evaluated according to the participants’ gender, grade level, student course score, mathematic teacher’s attitude and mother- father attitudes. As a result of the research, middle school students’ mathematic self report and visual mathematic literacy self efficacy level, differ significantly according to the examined variables, respectively, in favor of female students, lower classes, democratic teacher and democratic mother-father attitudes. There was found positive, middle and significant correlation between mathematic self report level and visual mathematic self efficacy perception.
