Abstract:

Today various industries face rapid changes due to economic, social and technological developments; yet some problems also appear in vocational and technical education. These changes cause increased demand for well trained and skilled labor force. Improvements in the field of vocational and technical training have kept up with fast change and training programs have restructured themselves suitable to the demands of each period. A training system in the field of accounting and finance which is a common need of every industry that are operational in Turkey bears great importance for the country. Therefore significant changes have taken place in the curriculum of vocational high schools of commerce to adopt them to developments appropriately. Formation and implementation of training programs in accounting and finance field to meet the needs of all industries that are operational in the business world play a critical role for vocational training. Shortfalls of today can be eliminated by vocational high schools of commerce.
