In this research, it was aimed to analyze that the institution care experiences and attachment styles of persons who had intuitional care in the past. Totally 60 people, including 29 men and 31 women, who were discharged from institutional care, participated in the study. A survey form has been used to define the subjects’ demographic characteristics and institution care experiences, and Relations Scale Survey for define the attachment styles and SPSS 17 software package has been used to analyze the research data. At the end of the research, it was discovered that the average time of the stay in the institution is longer, in general, they were taken into the institutional care with their brother or sisters. The major reason taken into institutional care is the death of mother/father. When attachment styles are examined, Dismissive Attachment Style received the highest score and the Secure Attachment Style received the lowest score, the sexual, the relationships with friend in the institution and having sister or brother in the same institution affected the attachment styles.
