In this study, whether levels of criticial thinking skills of associate-degree students who are studying at Vocational School vary according to individual differences is studied. The population of the study includes the students who study in Emet Vocational School in Dumlupinar University during the fall term of the academic year 2011-2012. Over 183 students who were selected randomly through stratified sampling from this population, the study has been accomplished. “Criticial Thinking Attitude Scale” which is developed by Özdemir (2005) and “Personal Information Form” are used as a means of data collection in the study. According to the analysis of results of “t-test” and “one-way ANOVA”, while no significant difference between criticial thinking skills of associate-degree students and age, gender, kind of high school which students graduated, families’ level of income, the place where they lived most, the parents’ education level, grade level and teaching styles was detected, a significant difference was detected between interests of associate students for personal development and the kind of department that they are studying at. The results are discussed in light of the literature
