This research was implemented by 390 personnel from a defense industry organization in order to investigate moderating role of subordinates’ personality traits on the relationship between military leadership and subordinates’ satisfaction with leader. Fit indexes of the scales were analyzed by Confirmatory Factor Analysis, the relations between variables were examined with Correlation Analysis and Linear Regression Analysis, moderating role of personality traits was analyzed by Hierarchical Regression Analysis and Simple Slopes Test. Correlation Analysis revealed the positive correlation between military leadership and subordinates’ satisfaction with leader. Regression Analysis demonstrated the impact of people-related interest and awareness dimensions of military leadership on subordinates’ satisfaction with leader. In addition, moderating role of openness was found on this relationship. Findings were discussed based on the Conservation of Resources Theory framework. Theoretical and practical implications were explained, and recommendations for future researches were discussed.
