Energy consumption, which is one of the main factors of economic development, is important both for being an important input used in production and as an input for economic growth. In addition to the causal relationship between energy consumption and economic growth, as well as being an important input to production, non-energy producing countries are becoming dependent on outside for the energy. In this case, countries are turning to alternative energy sources. In this study, the relationship between alternative and nuclear energy sources and economic growth in Turkey is examined by means of dynamic panel data analysis using annual data for 1975-2015 period. As a result of the analysis, the relationship between economic growth and alternative and nuclear energy consumption was determined.
