This research is a triangular work done with the purpose of finding about the productive use of individual hearing aids used by hearing impaired children in schools Subjects of the study were special education teachers attending to 37 special education goverment schools in Turkey A postal questionnaire is send to total of 369 teachers A sample of 53 teachers were also interviewed with a parallel questionnaire form A frequency distribution is used for data analysis Results revealed that half of the hearing impaired children attending to special primary schools don’t have hearing aids Also teachers and parents lack the necessary knowledge of hearing aids its benefits and functions Physical conditions of schools are also inadequate The most frequently used method in these schools is sign language A general view of these special schools reveals a rather pessimistic picture in our country Key Words: Hearing Impaired Children Education Hearing Aids Hearing Aids Use Primary School
