Consequently, although Turkey was disturbed by the result, signed the treaty on June 5, 1926 with Iraq and the United Kingdom. Turkey-Iraq border was drawn by the treaty. Turkey signed this treaty but it did not mean that it is completely gave up Mosul. Therefore, during the Gulf War Mosul subject came up again.
