Abstract enThe objective of this study is to develop a valid and reliable scale which can be used to identify ICT self efficacy perceptions of teachers and teacher candidates. In the development stages of draft scale, some studies related to ICTs and self efficacy scale development have been investigated and created an item pool include 35 items. Content validity of draft scale has been investigated by experts (n=8) via Davis method and in this process, 7 items have been deducted from draft scale and pilot study has been done with 28 items. In the pilot study of draft scale formed 28 items has been applied to 275 Science Teachers in three cities (Denizli, Burdur and Samsun). Validity and reliability studies have been done with 257 teachersâ responses because of inconsistencies of 18 teachersâ responses. In the item analysis, an item has been deducted from the scale because of low item-total correlation coefficient. According to result of exploratory factor analysis, the scale has been found as one-dimensional and Cronbach-Alfa internal consistency coefficient of the final version of the scale was found as ?=0,97. Factor loadings of the 27 items of the scale range between â0,584â and â0,840â. After this studies, it has been developed a valid and reliable ICT self efficacy perception scale for teachers and teacher candidates.
