Abstract:

Emir Husrev was born in Delhi in 651/1253. His father, Seyfeddin Mahmud, migrated from Belh to India during the Mongol invasion and settled in Delhi. After his father died, his grandfather took care of his father’s death. Emir has participated in the scientific and literary conversations held in the presence of his grandfather; thanks to these conversations he has become interested in literature and music, and at a young age he has made a great way in poetry. Thro his lifetime, he had a great deal of work, and he was able to compile and organize them while he was alive. Five of these poems, which contain his poems in different stages of life, are in the first place. In this study, a gazel of the Emir Hüsrev was examined. The gazel of the spring theme was translated from Persian to Turkish, referred to certain main literary arts that passed in the poem; some words and completions were necessary.
