Abstract:

The idea of establishing a Jewish state in Palestine, which began with the influence of Jewish opposition and Jewish nationality in Europe, was expressed as Zionism and the Jews took action to these goals. When the Jews who initiated Ottoman efforts did not get the result they wanted, during the First World War in 1917, the Balfour Declaration promised the British to acquire their homeland in Palestine.  The Jews concentrated their settlement activities in Palestine with the administration of the region to the British mandate after the war. This situation was welcomed by the Arabs with a reaction and the conflict began. and II. After the World War, the Jews declared the establishment of the State of Israel by the end of the British administration of the territory. This process in the region has been closely followed by the Turkish press, as well as throughout the world. In this work we will first study the process of the Jewish establishment of the state in Palestine, the establishment of the State of Israel, the reflection of the Turkish press, and in this process the view of Turkey on the events with the writings of the important notes of the period’s newspapers.
