Bu araştırmada öğretmen görüşlerine göre okul müdürlerinin göstermiş olduğu stratejik liderlik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin mesleki profesyonelliği arasındaki ilişkiler incelenmiştir. Araştırma 2018-2019 eğitim öğretim yılında Ankara ili Altındağ ilçesinde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu kamu okullarında görev yapmakta olan 344 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. İlişkisel tarama modelinin uygulandığı araştırmada veriler nicel teknikler ile çözümlenmiştir. Veri toplama sürecinde “Stratejik Liderlik Ölçeği” ve “Öğretmenlerin Mesleki Profesyonelliği Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğretmen görüşlerine göre okul müdürlerinin stratejik liderlik davranışları göstermeleri ve öğretmenlerin mesleki profesyonellik algılarının göreceli olarak iyi düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca değişkenler arasında pozitif yönlü, orta düzeyde ve anlamlı ilişkiler saptanmıştır. Korelasyon analizine göre dönüşümsel liderlik ile mesleki profesyonelliğin boyutları olan kişisel gelişim ve duygusal emek arasında en yüksek düzeyde ilişkinin kurulduğu görülmüştür. Araştırmanın bir diğer sonucu ise dönüşümsel ve etik liderliğin, kişisel gelişim ve duygusal emeğin ve ayrıca dönüşümsel ve politik liderliğin mesleki duyarlılığın anlamlı yordayıcıları olmalarıdır. Ayrıca stratejik liderlik boyutlarının kuruma katkı boyutu üzerinde herhangi bir yordayıcılığının olmadığı da tespit edilmiştir.
This study examined the relationships between the strategic leadership behaviors showed by school managers according to teachers’ opinions and the professional professionalism of teachers. The research was conducted in the 2018-2019 educational year in Ankara or Altındağ district. The research group consisted of 344 teachers working in public schools. In the research implemented by the relational scan model, the data was analyzed by quantum techniques. The process of data collection used the "Strategic Leadership Scale" and the "Professional Professional Scale of Teachers". The study found that according to teachers’ opinions, school managers show strategic leadership behaviors and that teachers’ professional professionalism perceptions are relatively good. There are also positive, medium and meaningful relationships between the variables. According to the correlation analysis, the relationship between personal development and emotional work, which is the dimensions of transformative leadership and professional professionalism, has been established at a high level. Another outcome of the study is that transformational and ethical leadership, personal development and emotional work, as well as transformational and political leadership are meaningful promoters of professional sensitivity. It is also found that strategic leadership dimensions have no focus on the contribution size to the organization.
In this research, the relationship between the strategic leadership behaviors of the school principals and the occupational professionalism of the teachers were examined according to the views of teachers’. The research was carried out in Altındağ district of Ankara province in 2018-2019 academic year. The study group consisted of 344 teachers working in public schools. In the study, the research which was applied relational survey model, the data were analyzed with quantitative techniques. “Strategic Leadership Scale” and “Occupational Professionalism Scale of Teachers” were used. As a result, it was determined that school principals’ strategic leadership behaviors and teachers’ perceptions of occupational professionalism are relatively good. In addition, positive, moderate and significant relationships were found between the variables. According to the correlation analysis, the highest relationship was found between transformational leadership with personal development and emotional labor. Another result of the study is that transformational and ethical leadership are significant predictors of teachers' personel development and emotional labor. In addition, it was found that transformational and politic leadership are sinificant predictors of teachers’ professional awareness. Also, it has been determined that strategic leadership dimensions do not have any predictor on the contribution to organization.
