In our article, non-judicial divorces -administrative divorces- in Turkish and Russian Laws are examined relating to Private International Law. When this subject is analyzed in terms of both laws, it is primarily argued that non-judicial administrative divorces are not available in Turkish law. Then nature of the administrative divorces existing in Russian law is determined and the question of which authority is competent for administrative divorces is answered. Finally, the problem of whether such divorces are recognizable just as foreign judgments is mentioned in both Turkish law and International Civil Procedure of Russian Federation.
