Abstract:

The Turkish-Islamic thought is the founding element of the tradition based on religious-state identity and has been able to maintain this character despite the various political, economic and social crises that have experienced.  The changes in the traditional sovereignty and property system during the modernization period have not prevented him from this function. The Turkish-Islamic thought continued to provide thought and legitimacy for reforms aimed at the conservation and reconstruction of property and property during the modernization period. This article discusses the tools developed by the Turkish-Islamic thought to ensure historical continuity and social integrity, which we can define as the integration of certain religious concepts and political concepts. The ability of these mental and practical instruments to influence and transform political speech and actions is presented in the right political context. The fact that the founding elements of the Turkish-Islamic thought are represented by the right words and political programs as a means of thought and legitimacy, recognizes the possibility of discussing the subject in this framework. It is important to evaluate the subject in a historical context and in the framework of the religious-social change.  Such a perspective could be the basis for the correct understanding of the current political processes and for an intellectual effort that exceeds the limits of the present.
