Üretimde kullanılacak makinelerin seçimi, yönetim açısından stratejik bir karardır. Genellikle büyük miktarda sermaye yatırımı gerektiren ve üretim faaliyetinin yapılabilmesi için gerekli olan makinelerin doğru seçimi, işletmelerin üretim planlarının aksatılmadan yürütülmesi, verimliliğin artırılması, maliyetlerinin azaltılması, dolayısıyla işletmenin sürdürülebilirliği açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Karar üzerinde etkili olan kriterlerin doğru belirlenmesi, belirlenen kriterler açısından alternatiflerin uygun yöntemlerle analiz edilmesi ve değerlendirilmesi sonucunda doğru seçimin yapılması mümkün olacaktır. Bu çalışmada, yatak ve uyku ürünleri üreten bir işletme için yatak kenarı bordür dikim makinesi seçimi yapılacaktır. Karar üzerinde etkili olduğu düşünülen kriterler doğrultusunda en iyi alternatif belirlenmeye çalışılacaktır. Bu amaçla Entropi-ROV ve CRITIC-ROV yöntemleri birlikte uygulanmıştır. Entropi ve CRITIC yöntemleri, kriter ağırlıklarının belirlenebilmesi için ROV yöntemi ise alternatiflerin sıralamasının yapılabilmesi ve en iyi alternatifin belirlenmesi için kullanılmıştır.
The choice of machines to be used in production is a strategic decision in terms of management. The right selection of machines that often require large amounts of capital investment and are necessary for the production activity to be carried out, the implementation of the production plans of the enterprises without any disturbance, the increase in efficiency, the reduction of costs, and therefore the sustainability of the enterprise, is of great importance. The correct determination of the criteria that are effective on the decision will be possible and the correct choice will be made as a result of the appropriate methods of analysis and evaluation of alternatives in terms of the determined criteria. In this study, the choice of bed-side border planting machine for a business that produces bed and sleep products will be made. The criteria that are considered to be effective on the decision will be attempted to determine the alternative. For this purpose, Entropi-ROV and CRITIC-ROV methods have been applied together. The entropic and CRITIC methods are used to determine the criterion weights; the ROV method is used to rank the alternatives and to determine the good alternatives.

It will be possible to determine the criteria that are effective on the decision correctly and to make the right choice as a result of analyzing and evaluating the alternatives with appropriate methods in terms of the determined criteria. In this study, border sewing machine will be selected for a factory which produces spring mattress and sleep products. It will be tried to determine the best alternative in line with the criteria that are thought to be effective onthe decision. For this purpose, Entropy-ROV and CRITIC-ROV methods were applied together. Entropy and CRITIC methods can be used to determine the criteria weights; the ROV method was used to determine the alternatives and determine the best alternative.
