The concept of human rights is one of the most debated issues of the modern era. The fact of Muslim-majority societies being often criticized by western societies inthe context of human rights makes it an even more important and a critical issue for Muslim people. So it remains to be a mysterywhether or not the theory of human rights has elements that are contrary to the Islamic belief. When the broadness of the subject is considered, there comes up the necessity for works that deal with the issue from different aspects. In this work, we will try to examine the approach of Quran -the holy text of Muslims- on human rights that is commonly known as life, liberty and property.
