Bu çalışmada, Türkçenin yazılı belgelerle takip edebildiğimiz ilk dönemlerinden itibaren kullanılan ve bugün de hâlâ kullanılmaya devam eden +ki biçim birimi ele alınmıştır. Öncelikle +ki biçim birimi hakkında kuramsal bilgi ve değerlendirmelere yer verilmiş, bu ekle ilgili Türkoloji alanında var olan yaklaşımlar tartışılmıştır. Ekin nasıl adlandırıldığı ve tanımlandığı hususları eleştirel bir bakış açısı ile ele alınmıştır. Ayrıca +ki biçim biriminin gramer kitaplarında bahsedilmeyen bazı istisnai kullanımları üzerinde durulmuştur. Ekin, tarihî Türk yazı dillerinde tespit edilen bu kullanımları tanıklarıyla birlikte sunulmuştur. Çalışmada sunulan tanıklar için hem tarihî (Orhon Türkçesi, Uygurca, Karahanlıca, Harezm-Altınordu Türkçesi, Çağatayca, Eski Anadolu Türkçesi) hem de çağdaş (Azerbaycan Türkçesi, Tatarca, Özbekçe, Tuvaca) Türk yazı dillerine ait metinlerden yararlanılmıştır.
In this study, we have addressed the form unit that has been used from the early periods of Turkish with written documents that we can follow and is still in use today. First of all, the theoretical information and assessments on the form unit were placed, and the approaches existing in the field of Turkology related to this supplement were discussed. The name and defining of the facts are discussed with a critical perspective. It is also focused on some exceptional uses not mentioned in the grammar books of the form unit. The use of these historical Turkish writings has been presented with witnesses. For the witnesses presented in the study, both historical (Orhon Turkish, Uyghur, Karahanlı, Harezm-Altınordu Turkish, Çağatay, Ancient Anadolu Turkish) and contemporary (Azerbaijan Turkish, Tatar, Uzbek, Tuvaca) Turkish writing languages were used.
