The Quran is like a pharmacy holding medicines for various diseases. It contains remedies for the personal, social, economic and political illnesses of humanity. The richness of the Quran is similar to the ores found in the depths of the ocean. Each commentator is like a diver who dives into that ocean and unearths the ores. In proportion to having diving skills and knowing the ores, one can only benefit from the Quran. The first addressee and commentator is the Prophet Mohammed. He dived into this sea and extracted the ores with open eyes. He introduced most of these ores to his subordinates and guided them to benefit from them. The Companions, who took lessons from him, delivered them to the people of the next century. After that, scholars and commentators shouldered this duty. This article is an attempt to reveal some inspiration and revelation based ishari interpretations in the book of Lem’alar (The Flashes) by Bediuzzaman Said Nursî, who aims to teach the Quran according to the understanding and comprehension of the century. In order to ensure that these interpretations conform to the terms of acceptance of the ishari tafsir, some brief information about the ishari tafsir is also provided.
