Abstract:

One of the sources that take on important functions in the acquisition of identity and membership awareness of societies is the story. The narratives based on the struggles with the enemies of the extraordinary archaeologists representing the values of the heroic era are essentially important in terms of reflecting the verbal history and cultural structures of nations. From the main stories of the Turkish distancing tradition, Manas is also the most important cultural treasure that shapes the cultural identity of the Kyrgyz Turks. It also draws attention to the type, and motivation of wealth. Specifically in the epic adventure of the hero Manas, the thirty brave fighting with him has an indispensable value for the hero. Among each of the forty brave with different characteristics, there is an important place in Almambet, one of the closest to the central hero Manas. Destanda, like Manas, is one of the heroes placed in its biography, Almambet is one of the leading figures of the story in terms of its role in the epic story. In various variants of the cast there is the episode of Almambet. This episode is considered one of the important episodes that emphasizes the Islamic ideal of the story. Zira Almambet leaves his homeland for Islam. This study will focus on the identity, characteristics and role in the story of the central hero of Manas, the most important companion of Almambet. The identification of the identity and typological characteristics of Almambet, which appears to us in all variants of the castle, the study of its historical and historical personality, will provide important information to the research based on the typological characteristics of the castle heroes.
