Abstract:

This work of Gülüşan Göcen, which studies the human structure by focusing on the intersection of the mythology, psychology and religious triangle, seeks answers to the questions of how modern psychology approaches the myth and how the myths can be addressed in the framework of the methods and approaches that religious psychology has. In the work that is easily noticed as a product of a very intense and long-death research, Göcen in the first part explains the questions, subjects and limitations that he will pursue during the book, and in the second part, referring to the discussions in the titles such as what the myth, function, structure and characteristics, "mith and religion", "mith and psychology" relations are presented in all dimensions. The third part is the author who distinguishes the myths of modern psychologists from the forms of reading, and the last part is discussing the myth from a narrow perspective - within the limits of religious psychology -
