Abstract:

With the use of new systems developed in protetic dentistry, both the patient’s aesthetic needs are met and the long-term success of restorations increases. While the highest satisfaction of the aesthetic requirements of full ceramic systems does not constitute a question sign with many studies on it; these systems should also be addressed in terms of marginal compatibility and microsisability, which play a key role for the long-term success of a fixed restoration. The purpose of this collection is to investigate the marginal conformity differences that may arise from the production systems and methods of all ceramic restoration materials used for aesthetic purpose. For this purpose, among dental magazines on Pubmed, a comprehensive search has been made with the keywords of 'CAD-CAM', 'Dental Ceramics' and 'Marjinal Compatibility' MeSH (Medical Subject Heading) Medical Subject Title in articles published from 2000 to today. The English language and the Dentistry magazine’s article were selected as a filter. Implants, endocronous, internal harmony words have been removed from research. At the beginning, there were 174 articles. When those who were not fully compatible with the topic were removed, a total of 49 articles formed the roof of this collection. The bibliography of all the articles received for additional publications was consulted. Since the 1970s, some hand-seeked classified publications have been included in the work. The lack of long-term clinical randomized studies concerning full-ceramic systems has led us to establish opinions on this issue through in vitro studies, while in vitro studies also have a small number of studies with large working groups.
