Abstract:

Kurumların amaçlarına ulaşmalarında arzu edilen çalışan profilini seçme, geliştirme ve elde tutmada belirleyici örgütsel değişkenlerden biri örgüt kültürü olmakta, bireylerin olumlu iş tutumlarının ortaya çıkmasında kurum kültürü öncül bir faktör olarak nitelendirilebilmektedir. Kurumlarda artan düzeyde takım çalışmaları grup dinamiklerinin örgütsel bağlamda incelenmesine daha çok dikkatleri çekmiş ve bireylerin çalışma grupları ile özdeşleşmeleri incelemeye değer bir çalışma konusu niteliği kazanmıştır. Kurum tarafından çalışanlarca geliştirilmesi arzu edilen bir tutum olan grupla özdeşleşme bu nedenle kurumun kendi kültüründen etkilenebilmektedir. Bu çalışmada kurum kültürünün, bireylerin çalışma grupları ile geliştirecekleri sosyal kimliğe bağlı özdeşleşmeye olan etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırmaya hizmet ve üretim sektörlerinden kolayda örnekleme yolu ile belirlenmiş, toplamda 11 işletmeden 436 gönüllü beyaz yakalı çalışan katılmıştır. Nicel araştırma yönteminin seçildiği ve ölçeklerin yer aldığı envanterin kullanıldığı çalışmada, takım çalışması ve yetenek geliştirme-örgütsel öğrenme, yetkilendirme-değişim kültür boyutları grupla özdeşleşmeyi olumlu yönde, paylaşılan vizyon ve iş usulleri/değerleri kültür boyutu ise grupla özdeşleşmedeki değişimi olumsuz yönde açıkladığı ortaya çıkmıştır.

Abstract:

The organization culture that is one of the remarkable organizational variables enabling desired employees' profile to be selected, developed and retained in institution is an antecedent for occurring employees' positive work attitude. Organizations reach institutional goals through these kinds of employees in this circumstance. Increasing level of team working in organization causes the academics to pay attention to research about group dynamics in organizational context. Therefore; group identification for employees acquires qualification of research field. Group identification as an attitude that institution wants employees to develop can be affected by the culture of institution. In this study, the effect of organizational culture on employees' identification with working groups depending on social identity is investigated. 436 white color-employee from 11 different private sector companies at both production and service participated in this research via convenient sampling technique. Quantitative research method is used and scales in inventory are used for gathering data. According to findings, culture dimensions of team working and talent development-learning, delegation-change influence identification, positively. Contrary to expectations, shared vision and job execution style/values explain dependent variable, negatively.
