2015 yılında İletişim Yayınları'ndan çıkan Öğretmen Emeğinin Dönüşümü, Halil Buyruk'un Ankara Üniversitesi Eğitim Bilimleri Enstitüsü'nde "Türkiye'de Öğretmen Emeğinin Dönüşümüne İlişkin Ekonomi Politik Bir Çözümleme" başlıklı doktora tezinin kitaplaştırılması sonucu ortaya çıkmıştır.
