The pointing signs used very rarely and systematically in pre-Tanzimat Turkish literature take an important role in the pointing of sound and meaning. Long after the pointing signs spread in Europe, it has entered our literature with a few signs that Shinasi used in the game Poet's Marriage (1860). As the use of point marks becomes widespread, the texts are also written to provide theoretical information about them. In the beginning of these texts, the work of Shemsettin Sami’s Usûl-i Tenkīt and Tertip (1886) comes. In addition to this, the work Usûl-i Tenkīt, which was published in 1327 by Haki Baha (Pars), provides information about the use of pointing signs. The results of the research have shown that both the use of pointing signs and the study of pointing signs has not been referred to this work by Haki Baha. In our article, the work named Right Bahá’u’lláh has been studied and the text has been latinized. This is also a source of literature related to the history of the pointing signs.

In addition, in Usûl-i Tenkīt, which is a work by Hakkı Baha (Pars) published in 1327, information on the use of punctuation marks is given. In researches, it was seen that Hakkı Baha was not mentioned in studies on both the use of punctuation marks and those related to the handling of punctuation marks. In this context, this work of Hakkı Baha was examined in our article and the text was Latinized and hence a source was provided for the literature on the history of punctuation
