Yapı endüstrisinin ve yapıların doğa ve insan üzerinde farklı yönlerden etkileri bulunmaktadır. Bu etkilerin olumsuz yönlerini azaltarak sektörün sürdürülebilir olması için günümüzde sürdürülebilir yapıların tasarlanıp, kullanılmasının önemi büyüktür. Sürdürülebilir yapı üretim süreci; yapay çevrenin inşası ve yönetimi ile ilgili bütüncül düşünceyi ortaya koymaktadır. Buna uygun inşa edilen yapılar, kaynak kullanımını azaltan, yenilenebilir kaynakları kullanan, kullanıcıya sağlıklı ve konforlu ortam sunan, geri dönüşebilen, çevresel ve sosyal alana uyumlu yenilikçi çözümleri içermektedir. Yapıların tasarım ve yapım evrelerindeki yönetim süreçlerinin sürdürülebilirlik kavramına uygun olması, özellikle yapım evresinde önemli görülmektedir. Bu durumdan yola çıkarak çalışmada, stratejik konumu ve zengin kaynakları açısından ülkemizin metropol bölgelerinden biri olmaya aday Çukurova Bölgesi’nde farklı zaman dilimlerinde inşa edilmiş farklı işlevlere ve kullanıcı profillerine sahip, kullanım evresinde olan yapılar seçilmiştir. Yapıların yapım evresini destekleyecek olan tasarım evresi de ele alınarak alan çalışması ile incelenmiştir. Tasarım ve yapım süreçlerinde elde edilen verilerin kendi aralarında karşılaştırılması ile bu çalışmada sürdürülebilirlik düzeyinin yapı sektörü içerisinde durumu tespit edilmiştir. Durum tespiti ve öneriler ile sürdürülebilir yapı yönetim sisteminin kullanımını artırmaya yönelik olarak tasarımcılara ve yüklenici firmalara yol gösterici olması ve alana katkı sağlaması amaçlanmaktadır.
The construction industry and structures have different effects on nature and humans. The importance of the design and use of sustainable structures today is to reduce the negative aspects of these impacts and to make the industry sustainable. Sustainable construction production process shows a comprehensive thought on the construction and management of the artificial environment. The properly built structures include innovative solutions that reduce the use of resources, use renewable resources, provide the user with a healthy and comfortable environment, recyclable, environmentally and socially compatible. The importance that the management processes of structures in the design and construction stages are in accordance with the concept of sustainability, especially in the construction stage. Starting from this situation in the study, the structures that are in the use stage, with different functions and user profiles built in different time intervals in the Cukurova Region, which are candidate to be one of the metropolitan regions of our country in terms of its strategic location and rich resources. The design phase that will support the construction phase of the buildings has also been examined by the field work. By comparing the data obtained in the design and construction processes among themselves, the level of sustainability in this study has been identified within the construction sector. The objective is to be a guide to the designers and contractor companies and to contribute to the field in order to improve the use of sustainable building management system.
The construction industry and buildings have different effects on nature and human. It is of great importance to design and use sustainable buildings in order to make the sector sustainable by reducing the negative aspects of these effects. Sustainable building construction process; It provides a holistic view of the construction and management of the artificial environment. The builds constructed accordingly include innovative solutions that reduce resource utilization, use renewable resources, provide a healthy and comfortable environment for the user, are recyclable, and are compatible with the environmental and social areas. The fact that the management processes in the design and construction phases of the buildings are in line with the concept of sustainability. Based on this situation, in the study, the buildings which have different functions and user profiles and which are in use phase have been selected in Çukurova Region which is candidate to be one of the metropolitan regions of our country in terms of strategic location and rich resources. The design phase, which will support the construction phase of the buildings, has also been examined and examined by field study. Accordingly, it was determined that the negative impact of environmental factors on the project was reduced due to the designers' application of the project management components. During the construction phase, it was observed that companies attach importance to energy and natural resource conservation and make material selection according to sustainability criteria. By comparing the data obtained in the design and construction processes among themselves, the status of the sustainability level in the building sector was determined. It is aimed to provide guidance to designers and contractor companies and to contribute to the field in order to increase the use of sustainable building management system through due diligence and recommendations.
